A 9:16 and 4:5 social video post for Trojan Canada's collaboration with Toronto Pride called "A Ball for All". This celebrates the 20+ years that Trojan's has held steadfast in their support of Pride Toronto and the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

I played in a part in bringing the creative team's story board to life by animating the clacking fan's from ballroom culture, choosing the music and the motion design throughout the social video.

The client asked if we could make the still opened clacking fans be animated from closed to open, but if it was not possible or too much of hassle to follow the original storyboard.

I eagerly took on the challenge by looking at actual videos of a clacking fan as inspiration. I came up with the idea to cut up the original clacking fan design in Photoshop to individual sticks and animated it in After Effects using nulls, masks, anchor points and playing around with the speed graph for the most natural movement.
